| Stands for engine control fuse. I had this fuse blow on me unknowingly. It caused the engine to run rough and not hold an idle. It also caused the Hicas light, brake light and Lamp Check lights to illuminate in the instrument cluster. Seems there is a sneak circuit somewhere to the lamp check relay circuit when this fuse blows. The fuse controls many engine control components to include: O2 Sensors heaters FICD Solenoid L and R waste gate valve control AIV control valve solenoid AAC control solenoid L and R VTC solenoid PRVR control solenoid EGR control solenoid Another interesting note for this problem is that the ECU did not report any codes when this fuse blew open. I hope this info helps someone else who has this problem because it isn't obvious what the cause is based on the symptoms. Still not sure why the fuse blew in the first place but most likely one of the above components is going borderline with low resistance.
